A free Anti-Virus
Can anyone tell me where I can find a free anti-virus service? I'd rather get it for free than pay for a subscription. Something where getting the updates is free as well. I've found a lot of free anti-viruses, but in order to get virus definition updates, you have to subscribe (and pay a fee).

I use Dev-C++ version 4.9.9.2 on Windows XP. Where do I get the irrKlang sound library?
A quick question: Is the system function also cross-platform or is there another way for me to clear the screen. I'm currently using:

Well, I've tried many different hacking games. Most of them weren't console based. The game Hacker Evolution is kind of what I'm trying to achive ,however, it wasn't quite what I wanted. Something along the lines of a mix between Hacker Evolution and Darksigns. The game is not a windows application ...

Yes, your code helped a lot. It never occured to me to use a substring to divide the command and the arguements. That's probably because we didn't learn about substrings in our class (we didn't learn vectors either). But, even when I use the #ifdef and #endif it doesn't seem to know what the sleep f...

I'm making a text based hacking game (console-based not a windows application) using C++ kind of like Darksigns. I'm using the basic stuff such as cout, cin, puts(), and gets() to display my text. I'm good with that stuff, the problem is, it spits out all of the text on the screen at once. What I ne...

Know of a free database software?
I was wondering... is there any free database software out there (like maybe some free (but legal) version of MySQL or Microsoft Access). I need something that I can use to code .asp pages for my website. The database will be used for usernames, passwords, etc. . If you know any, would you mind shar...

You're talking about some kind of virus that when it infects someone's computer, it shuts down the fan and causes the processor to overheat? I don't have much knowledge in viruses (except using my anti-virus and what viruses do). And getting rid of the emergency shutdown temperature, I never really ...

I'd only cheat when playing single-player, like I usally do when playing Age of Empires. Cheating online is disgraceful and anyone who does it probably only does it because that's the only way they'd win. Speaking of wallhacks, last year at school, we'd sometimes play Counter Strike and this one kid...
