sure, web- and mail-services are completely independent from each other. all you need is a domain name with the MX record pointing to the mail provider and a SPF record that qualifies the provider's mail server as sender for the domain.

it's because the user interface is overloaded which makes it hard to find things, especially because they use those fancy proprietary names for everything which makes it hard to guess what it actually does.
