i just upgraded my mobo and cpu from GA-P35-DS3L/e6750 to Asrock P55-Pro/i7-870. everything went down without a hitch untill the time came to use my mic which worked fine on my previous installation. it's the logitech USB standalone mic with no drivers available for it as it is a plug and play devic...

price is an object and asrock appears to offer the cheapest alternative for me. Forgive me my ignorance but i've never done much fiddling with my mobo so i can't see a reason which justifies spending the extra 50-100 for a higher end motherboard.

Basically i'm just swapping out mobo and cpu and as a result i am obligated to get new RAM as DDR2 wont work on the new mobo i believe. In the future i intend to purchase a new gfx card and PSU at the same time and potentially a new case depending on circumstance. so i'll pretty much have a new comp...

I installed AC2, it didnt work properly so i uninstalled it.
now when i go to set it up again, the setup prompts me to uninstall the game again, when i do so, it says its complete but the setup still asks me to uninstall the game.

at least on the pc version, from my experience, hackers are few and far between. just leave the server. and join another.

i've got my comp connected via DVI and my ps3 connected via HDMI. is there any way i can swap input with a touch of a button?
i can swap inputs by going into the monitor's properties and whatnot, im just curios if there is a faster way

i dont understand how the headset would affect the humming.

i'm looking for a way to filter out background noise ie.the hum of my computer, when recording sounds with my Logitech USB Desktop Microphone.

i've googled for hours, if you can think of a software hardware solution other than buying a headset it would be greatly appreciated
