I will go by the way that has always worked for me.. never been shocked doing it that way..(also make sure the power plug is off the box) touch a metal part on the PC box while you are plugging the parts, I never have been shocked ... I dunno to be honest, but it always worked for me. I was always told instead of buying a fancy electronic thingy so you dont get shocked just touch something metal while you are plugging in the part on the computer and you will be good.. and I have never had a problem and replaced many RAM chips and...

ehhh.. changeing ram is easy, just touch something metal while your plugging the ram stick in and you will be allright.. (to ground yourself) the hard thing is changing a processor Im not sure what kind of ram stick that is your holding or what is allready in your mobo, but CT is a pretty wise dude ...
