Re: [Review] Crysis 2 and Homefront
I played out Mafia 2, (did Mafia Blackhand edition on the wii) and Medal of Honor. I really felt getting addicted to Mafia 2 more so than any other game out there. It was so easy to drift away driving around in those 50's, 60's,...cars going around robing stores. I did not even play the game the wa...

Re: I want that HDD soooo bad
What is the point if you can not boot an OS from it. I would rather buy my self a 12 TB NAS if I felt like spending a whole lot of money for storage.

Re: Sony Hacked!
I do not feel bad for all those PS3 users but still it is a big deal any way you look at it. First of all Sony got hacked two times in a row and the last time by a simple sql injection. If you think about it such a lack of security by such a huge company...it just does not compute.

I do not see a reason why you would be downplaying this. Think of all those PS3 players that got there credit card numbers, e-mails,...stolen. I think it is a big deal for all those millions of gamers.

Re: [Review] Crysis 2 and Homefront
I had this conversation with some one about how resource demanding the crysis 1 game is and that I may play it when I build my self a new gaming rig. He linked me to this: http://xkcd.com/606/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Re: TrueCrypt encrypted volumes detected by TCHunt?
I had to go to their website to even figure out that you were talking about. You provided very scarce amount of information.
So it finds hidden truecrypt volumes. Big deal...I never make a hidden truecrypt volume.

Re: [Review] Crysis 2 and Homefront
I have not yet played homefront but I can say a few things about crysis 2. Also I am going to take a look at the game from a different angle so that another aspects of the game is taken into perspective. Crysis 2 for all the hype seemed a bit short to me. I say that because I felt like I just warmed...

Trojan in skype!
Some wondered why would microsoft purchase skype as has been outlined in this article: http://www.wired.com/epicenter/2011/05/microsoft-buys-skype-2/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;. What ever the reason now skype installs EasybitsGo.exe on your computer with out your permis...

Re: What is your take on cloud computing
I read some where that soon we may not need to have gaming computers at home to play games. We are just going to connect to our cloud computer and play games there. Sounds great does not it!!! But how much would that cost? My gaming computer has 4GB of DDR2 RAM with an overclocked E7500 and my GPU h...

Re: Time to reinstall windows...
I remember way back when I decided to encrypt my 500GB external HD. It took me the entire weekend to have it fully encrypted and move all the stuff on there. I even wrote a blog entry about it: http://lyecdevf.blogspot.com/2008/11/today-and-yesterday-i-have-been-playing.html" onclick="wind...

Unity 2010-my review
I installed Unity 2010.1 nicknamed Marrianne with 2.6.33.6 kernel and openbox on my laptop about a month ago. I wanted to test out a minimal linux distro. I kept an eye on distrowatch to see the latest releases and since unity came out at that time I decided to give it a try. I also got tired of usi...

Re: The Asclepius worm evovles into........
One of the first things and attacker does when breaking into a system is that he secures it so as to prevent other hackers from gaining access to it. I think that is really cool because every one thinks that hackers do only bad stuff on the net but that is far from true.

Re: these new windows suck ass
I do not think you can compare vista and windows 7. I tried vista on my sisters laptop and it was then when I realized how bloated this operating system was. Even connecting to the internet you lost some nerves. I once had to write up a document and used the vistas word thing and I got some thing wi...
