Hello all- I dual boot, windows xp and ubuntu. My bf moved my partition and now I dont have a boot partition(where my grub files were). I get Error 22, Ive googled it and when I try the various sudo commands I cant really get anywhere. It shows me whats up with my hd and what partitions I still have...

Ok, So its back. Windows worked for a while, and now it gets to the windows logo and then back to bios. I really dont understand how it works sometimes and then it doesnt.
Ideas?

Update- Yup, I did put custom firmware on it this time, and it seems to be doing pretty good. Although there is still an obvious difference between my laptop and my bf's. My linux compy loads better and faster and stays connected longer than the windows 7 computer. I think windows 7 is also a factor...

Yea I dunno. I always have some weird computer issue that pops up every now and again.

Yea, the firmware didnt help the issue either...

And the lease time isnt really long. It expires in 3 hours.
But it still drops and reconnects real quick.
