hacking URLs

Tripod.com used to be real bad with coding for its logins. If you ran a packet sniffer on yourself while you logged in, you could catch your user/pwd in plain text. Angelfire used to submit new user NFO in plain text too. Running a packetsniffer could help you understand the process of login. When I...

Wardriving, snatching Frequencies..

maboroshi, well wardriving for wifi includes any radio frequency. Bluetooth is not exactly popular yet here. I am sure lugging around a laptop on foot sucks - cuz I have done it. I wonder if anyone else has sniffed frequencies like for police/rescue radios, remote controls for vehicles, garage doors...

hack?

#1. poetry files on laptop is not the same as email stored on a email server. Getting access to email on Yahoo really won't get you files off the laptop. #2. It sounds like you want a email crack rather than your laptop or files contained on them. If I split with some bitch I would want my puter stu...

Wardriving a crime? Or an intro to DNR

Is wardriving a crime where you live? << For those with short attention span or difficulty in translating my language, I am sorry. I tend to get spastic fingers after a triple expresso, and a burning bud>> By no means am I 13370 on wardriving or wifi. I do have a background in cabled networks and pu...

passwords for wifi routers

One of the current tactics is searching the manufactor's website for default passwords and installation software dowloads: http://www.linksys.com/servlet/Satellite?c=L_Content_C1&childpagename=US%2FLayout&cid=1114037290855&pagename=Linksys%2FCommon%2FVisitorWrapper That linksys site also...

Politics and borders

Remember: #1. We are all human beings on a single planet, we must get along or we all perish together. #2. Politics are always annoying, thats why we hate them. Discussing politics will always be offensive. We should try to expand behind the mindset of "I live in Germany/ I live in USA", a...

dumpster dive for phone bill

if you have physical access, just grab their trash and hope they don't use a paper shredder. People throw away many things that tells alot about them, the bills, bank statements, tax forms, and of course phone bills.
Don't forget to place similar looking trash bags in place to avoid suspicion.

phreaking is it still alive???

Hmm with the passing of analog phone signals and old switches, so pass the art of boxing. Digital software and switching can filter out signals like on a computer network. A lot of what was covered may not work. I.e. the capt crunch whistle. The ideology behind preaking still lives, you need to crac...

passing antivirii security

obviously you need a virii that does not have a known 'signature'. If you are using code that has been around the world already, then many >updated< antivirii programs will already have it in their library of known attacks/virii. Yahoo's antiviri proggie might have detected your virii signature and ...

free ? Keyloggers

You can search for Crackz to full version keylogger software. I am not sure if they will work prior to the login on windows as that is the whole purpose of the 'safety' of logging into Windows NT. One way is to use keylogging hardware that plugs in between the keyboard and puter. but that aint free....

ISP monitoring

I agree with running a packet sniffer. Anyone get eeye.com's IRIS? Any packetsniffer will show you what your computer is sending and receiving. Thats why you want to consider encryption software to send and receive messages, the ISP would see the encrypted transmission but not crack it to read the c...

SMTP spoof with telnet

Back in the old days you used to be able to scan ranges of IPs for port 25. I would look for small businesses because they would have a small computer network. The web server IP was usually the IP range to scan for the entire network. I felt as long as I wasn't damaging the network it was just a coo...
