You should read about Tor, as I posted it for a reason

It's a proxy software kind of.
Works really well and I highly recommend it.

But DON'T use it when logging into websites, as people might be able to steal your info with Tor ^^

So only use it for surfing, or when logging into sites you don't really care about (Preferably with SSL)

The system I'm using it on has low processing speed so I keep software to a bare minimum. Thanks for the great info I'll be sure to pass it on. In the meantime I need a web proxy.

Then install Tor like I said, and from Tor you can access the proxy sites that you need.
Then you remove Tor when you are done.

For the record Tor is just a browser with a smaller software attached to it that connects to the Tor network.
Nothing resource hogging, so there is no reason to NOT use it.

But you do as you please ; p
