Hi there I was wondering if it is possible of creating a box made specifically for cracking passwords... just hear me out a bit there was a tool created not so long ago i think it was called ighashgpu or something of that sort which allowed you to crack passwords buy using a graphics card..so i was wondering if..you created a circuit board with about 5.. compatible grahics cards with a customized ighasgpu GUI interface with the options to upload or to connect to a computer , seperate power supply of couse and you crack away...mayby im being overly simplistic or niave but wouldn't that be possible and if so can it also not only crack passwords but break encryptions as well ????

It's absolutely possible (I think we have a thread about it somewhere).
It's might be a bit costly bit it's worth it if you happen to sit on a lot of hashes that you need cracked.
The downside is the cost of course, and that the graphics card is being pushed to its limits ^^
Try using oclHashcat, it's probably the best one out there right now.
