Pale Moon [Firefox Deviant]

Post by maboroshi »

For avid Firefox users (Like me) who would like to continue using the features of firefox but want to enjoy faster speeds, more reliable stability and much more. I recommend the Pale Moon browser.

From there web site here is the Main Features of this development:
Optimized for modern processors
Firefox sourced: As safe as the browser that has seen many years of development.
Uses slightly less memory because of disabled redundant and optional code
Smooth and speedy page drawing and script processing
Increased stability: experience fewer browser crashes.
Support for SVG and Canvas, and downloadable fonts including WOFF
Extensive support for HTML5, CSS3 and WebGL
Support for Firefox extensions (add-ons) and themes
OOPP (Out-of-process plugin execution) to prevent browser crashes
More customization and configuration options than Firefox
Able to use existing Firefox profiles with the migration tool
See http://www.palemoon.org/ for more detailed information.

*cheers Mabs!

Just installing it after a thorough read, nice find bro. I have also thought about using Dragon Browser before now from Comodo and think i will do as it is chrome based and i do like some of the features offered in Chrome you do not have with firefox, one of them being i can write a post in Chrome and if the browser gets closed unexpectedly for instance by power outage (some of the laptops I have the battery is completely dead) then i can recover the whole post where in FF i have completely lost it.

Thanks for sharing, will give it a whirl *thumb*
