download adaware se , avg free scan you should be fine
adaware = http://www.lavasoftusa.com/
avg = http://free.grisoft.com/

when you install the programs, boot your machine into safe mode then scan , when cleared the trojan , boot back into normal mode

I asume you had a program to detect it for you? could the program not remove it?

Do you have a scan log? like the locations of the infected files that can not be removed?

1. Disable System Restore (Windows Me/XP)
2. Turn Off The Computer
3. Log On In Safe Mode
4. Run a full system scan and delete all the files detected.
5. Delete any values added to the registry.
6. Reset the Internet Explorer home page.
7. Reset the Internet Explorer search page.

I would remove the Trojan buy searching all the registry files associated with it. Have fun and learn how you got infected and how to remove it.

its ok now, i think i've fixed it by downloading some software(superantispyware). wow kaspersky sucks, all it did was go nuts with popups every 5 minutes and not fix the problem or how to fix it.
by the way would it be ok to run 2 anti virus programs at once?

Usualy that is a bad idea, AV's tend to not like each other.

You are the first one i have seen so far that doesn't like Kaspersky ^^

Kaspersky asks you what to do with the file as default, you will have to go into the settings and set it to delete or disinfect when found, and you can also disable the popups ^^

notice the difference between antispyware and antivirus.

i run more than 1 antispyware namely
spybot search and destroy and adaware

anti virus i use kaspersky or avg depends which pc

and dont forget a firewall i use zonealarm although theres plenty more free ones out there :wink:
