Ok so I have a 500 GB HDD where I have all my *cough* "files" and such ^^
Should I keep NTFS for it? or should I change to ext3?
Motivate your answer =)

hm, depends in the first place on the OSs you want to use to access the files...NFTS will make it accessible for MS and Linux (when using ntfs3g), if no MS access is needed go for ext3, simply because its performance is much better than NTFS. if lots of small files are stored there and you want the max. possible performance you can go for ReiserFS too.

check this one:

you can mount ext3 too with it, check the FAQs. but before using it on a productive system (your real file storage HDD in this case) I recommend to do a test with a spare HDD first, safety first...
