Now that I look into it, it seems that this feature was only in MS2003 for word not for 2007 too. :o . Bizarrly this feature is still available in Excel 2007.

Here are some Alternative programmes you may want to look into:

yea I think it was an old idea M$ had back in the 2003 version - a text reader tool to vocalize text being typed or read. It had some problems and I think M$ elected not to support it any more. There are third-party vendors that offer these tools, probably for cost.

Speaking of tools go look for Shit talker by the Phone Losers of America - its a great tool with premade speech or it will take your input text. Stuff like "Can I speak to the manager" to "Do you want to buy robot insurance?" You can change the voice freq/pitch to sound like a man, woman or a fly. Great for drive-up window wifi hijacking or prank calls!
You can use IP-Relay.com to have an operator speak what you type over the phone.

This is the core of my macbook pro speech to text program, which works insanely well.

When I took a typing class at my high school the very first thing that our teacher said was that after seeing all the available products out there not one can substantially deliver. So I spent the next few months taking in my mind probably the best class in high school. Now I can type with out looking at my keyboard, with all ten finger and type very fast. It is some thing that you need to learn Period. That is why I can type now so much. I could type even more if I wanted to. It would only take another minute. :D
We will either find a way, or make one.

hehehe
lyec, im really good in typing too
but i wanted to experiment with such a tool (on condition its free), the same way i once experimented with OCR's. I found such an application cool at that time, and experimented with many versions. So now if I have any paper I want to type, I can do that in minutes (theoretically)
So thats my issue with the application I'm asking for right now :)
I would appreciate it if I find some thing handy and neat and simple :P
