My first real 3d program - terrain viewer

Post by Gogeta70 »

What's up dudes. I've been playing around with opengl, and it's been a lot of fun (and frustration). I made a program that reads a grayscale bmp heightmap and converts it into a realistically shaped 3d terrain with decent lighting. You can move the camera and rotate the terrain. Check it out ^_^

Ok, now... I'm off to bed...
¯\_(ツ)_/¯ It works on my machine...

I doubt that. It's unfortunate, but my higher-ups only care about themselves. I'm not being bitter, it's just true. As long as they get their paycheck every month, they don't care that i'm not getting mine.
