my girlfriend broke the flip part off her phone. It is a motorola model VU204. I would like to know two things. How can i get the pictures of it and what kind of hacks can i do to it? The first one is more important. I have used a cable but my computer wont see it. Im thinking about taking it further apart. It has a SSD in it. i should be able to take that out and somehow connect it to my computer.
any ideas

You can insert the SSD into a card reader.
You can also try inserting the SSD into a camera if it is compatible and try and receive the files from there.
I think you maybe even able to add the card to a PSP and receive the files from there if i remember correctly.
Good luck
You can also try retrieving the deleted files off the SSD.
Its good to learn

make a trigger for an IED out of it.
I took apart a motorola V3 flipphone, its nice to check out the tech inside. The smart card in the phone can be removed, and viewed in newer laptops that have a Secure Data/MultiMedia Card (SD/MMC) slot.
You can try inserting it into another device, but it might need propriety code to reconize - SD from a phone to read in a SD drive in a camera. The computer might have the best chance of viewing the contents on the SD.
I took off the parts from the phone, I made a neat little battery powered light from the backlight component. The camera and other parts can be separated by unplugging them - if you can figure out the input/outputs I can see rigging up the camera to the video screen, maybe working the phone to record to its memory.
Have fun!
