Ajax anyone?

Post by pseudo_opcode »

Asynchronous javascipt and XML for those who dont know, AJAX combined with php, mysql is awesome, You can pratically make real applications on webpages, so if a part of page needs to be updated, you dont need to reload the whole page, thats why its asynchronous, its the technology behind flickr, google maps and gmail, i think this is the future of technology, i m still learning, so any AJAX guru here?

I have read about Ajax in a techie magazine last spring. I like mono though - still experimenting with it. --> http://www.go-mono.com/monologue/

Any reliable / credible succes stories ?

PS:
I thought that vb.NET with its WebForms and MSSQL wanted to master the presence of Web-applications, but i might be out-dated, anyway, Web-based applications is not fresh news. ( in bussiness world, they made a genuine breaktrough though : LiveLink ( MsOffice via HTTP over VPN ) ... buggy but *amazing*.
