A wishful question about bios experts only!

Post by floodhound2 »

I want some of you experienced computer nerds (myself included) to ponder how one would hack the bios screen. For example I have seen many bios screens and some say DELL or Award most show a silly low quality picture.

Well if I wanted to attempt to insert my own logo FLOODHOUND how would I approach this?

I have ideas but want some input before I attack this on my own.

ok i could get long into that reply shamir so instead just refrain from waisting space on the message boards with useless replies unless there is something useful to reply

as for your post floodhound is this something you were looking for or a little deeper. i hope it helps or is a start to what you are trying to achieve

For a given Bios i want to be able to change the boot screen. Simple idea but harder to do i imagine.

Like i said probably for advanced users.

I build custom computers and wanted to put on a custom Bios splash screen

Just reiterating what I stated on the initial posting.

Please quit taking things so literal; furthermore I believe you should consider waiting for more people to reply if you are not keen on a topic. I have seen you employ several unfilled, close to meaningless responses that may have been avoided if you were tolerant to the material.

I am growing annoyed and I apologize up front for this statement, but I needed to regurgitate this indifference I suffer from your reply/s.

glad to help floodhound and as i am just building a pc for myself (yes another 1, just for gaming) i might attempt this for myself as well. if you would like to make a separate thread where we can add info to it as we go along, we could help each other and others with the interest and try to keep useless posts away from it or delete them and when we complete the task, add it to the tutorial section.

i also agree with the fore mentioned post, that i am more and more, find myself sitting here with steam coming out of my ears at ....what shall i call it ....fly posting.
