Can't view forum when using HTTPS

Post by reparto »

Using Firefox 23 (I switched because I found a few addons for Firefox that I NEED!!!) if I access the site using HTTPS, the forum in the iframe is not rendered or loaded. Its either Firefox being picky about insecure content (the iframe is HTTP) or its my HTTPS Finder addon clashing with the iframe.

I have had this problem to for some time ...

Perhaps this can shed a bit of light on our situation :D

Code: Select all

https://blog.mozilla.org/tanvi/2013/04/10/mixed-content-blocking-enabled-in-firefox-23/
Edit * Seemed to work for me. Honestly though Firefox is getting more and more retarded. Who takes away disable javascript in browser software cause stupid users block themselves out.

Anyway here is a link to permanently disable passive content blocking

Code: Select all

https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/967760
Edit *
To permanently disable:

1. In the address bar, type "about:config" and press Enter.
2. Click the "I'll be careful, I promise!" button.
3. In the search field, type "block_active".
4. Set the value for the one search result ("security.mixed_content.block_active_content") to "false".
