anyone here with an ipad?
can anyone tell me what the default video recording format on an ipad (through the onboard camera) is? mp4?
Re: anyone here with an ipad?
Would guess so. I can ask my dad, he has one *shivers*

Re: anyone here with an ipad?
alrighty, thanks!
that's some good news then...a customer of mine, which has no real idea about IT (he don't have to, that's MY job) will record a whole bunch of videos with his iPad that will be available for streaming on his website (that I am developing..actually mab and me), and mp4 is simply the best because it's supported by all platforms out of the box. so it'll save me the fuzz of having to convert them all.
yeah, reparto...quicktime would have sucked...bigtime.. wmv would have sucked too, but that format would have surprised me a bit when coming from an ipad..

Re: anyone here with an ipad?
It is still likely you would have to convert them for a Web Format (size, quality etc). I have an ipad and even a short video is not really the best for web video. But I found VLC has the best system for conversion and even has batch conversion to adjust those values.
But well I can record a short video and show you and you can be the judge of it
Mabo
