Yeah, Macromedia contacted my ISP a while back about the dreamweaver and fireworks I downloaded. I think it's important to note that I did NOT install Fireworks, all I had was the setup file from Warez. So, this means that the Fireworks program didn't send info back to them. I also was using a firewall that alerts for ANY new outgoing and incoming connection requests and gives me the option of allowing it.
Since then, my mom got caught when Universal Studios contacted our ISP about some TV shows she downloaded. Now, we're on Dial-up instead of cable.
I'm only guessing that they search for their own products and download from you as you're downloading to get your IP. Or..the one you're downloading from could be a trap.
If you're going to use a P2P be sure to use a good proxy, don't put any of your files sharing, and don't let people download from you.
I agree with what Pseudo said.
Now..Big-E..I'm still waiting for an answer

I am using cable internet and a couple of times the warez that I was registering with patches or keygens gave me a note that they loged my IP and stuff but I never heard any thing from them. I download a ton of movies all the time using P2P and I have never received any warning or any thing like that. I figure my ISP cares more for the 50 euros they get each month from me.
We will either find a way, or make one.
