Maya first timer

Post by Shimo »

Hurray I've decided to take on the beast known as Maya.... It's a summer goal of mine to be able to make a bounceing ball... I'm in the middle of getting maya and hope its not going to kill me learning it. Also I was wondering If any of you guys know of any good books I can order in from my local library. And yes I am aware this is going to be a lot of work but I work best in a slightly stressful environment.... Wish me luck. And thanks for any help.

Thats the spirit! NO ONE is born an expert on any subject, its only with hard work that we learn our skills and hone our skills. Im not gonna wish you luck, because thatd be demeaning, you have a good attitude, and that will surely help you :D

Hope other members follow your example!

Mainly because my school use's maya and Im hoping to get a basic understanding by the start of next year.... Hurray for multimedia and their not so vast collection of programs.... Any way on a completely unrelated note. So apparently in the design studies room a student apparently completely got rid of windows off one of the computers and replaced it with a custom linux installation. Now heres the funny part... My schools to dumb to know how to get it off and replace it with windows again lol... They think they know who did it just because there was a kid who sat there every day in class.... Funny thing is... This is his last year. They found out 2 weeks ago... And this is the last day of school for the year.

well i think that's the same endless question like "what programming language should i learn? c,java, visual basic,....
Whatever 3d program shimo's going to learn, it'll allways be a good one, since as soon as you decided to learn something, you made a correct descision. So i voted Yes
