Oblivion...too hard...

Guys i really love Oblivion, its a great game with so much gampelay, but and I realise this must sound like madness but i got fed up with it....

The problem is the bad guys are too tough! Even when i quitepowerful say Level 20 or so, and i have vampirism and other boosts, I find myslf having to turn down the difficulty, esp. when fighting ghosts and Daedra.

And don get me started on the bloody Zombies!

As I said, its spoiling an otherwise great game.

Any tips?

well, what character do you play?
I finished the game with an Orc level 32, at the end I could kill every enemy with bare hands without any problem.

to fight ghosts you have to use silver weapons, at least until you have a good weapon with magic damage. when you find shrines make sure to do the missions you get there, in most cases you are rewarded with nice equipment....good stuff can also be found in the caves and ruins in the east, nice rings for example, my sword fighting skill was boosted to 135 by such equipment.

Breton., like him cause hes an all rounder.

I know about the Silver weapons, but it just seems that no matter what i doi cant kill them! I have the difficulty bar at the half way bar.

PS I do have my strength beyond 100, due to various boosts. Most badies are okay, but the Daedra are impossible!

Try some mods like ooo ( Osucro's Oblivion Overhaul )

And im pretty sure im not the first person that tells you that mate...
unless you make your own on a game that youve passed at least twice, dont use modz

I think the only cool thing about Oblivion are the mass of mods... Anyway I never likes Oblivion. SP games are so boring. ^^

use the console to do fun stuff

You can spawn full daedra or whatever. I usually walk around i godmode all the time. But this is mainly because i've gotten really bored with the game. You can also use the console to complete quests, teleport or kill enemeys. Kinda fun!
