Better then the original, but with the minor irritation of DLC. If you were left with questions about the ME1 story, a lot of them will be cleared up in ME2... but you will be left with an equal number waiting to be cleared up in ME3 I'm afraid.
All in all, a thoroughly enjoyable 3rd person shooter... or whatever that angle is
