Debian 6.0.2 Linux Kernel 3.0

Post by ayu »

Has anyone had any success in compiling the Linux 3.0 Kernel for Debian 6.0.2?
I keep getting an error about a missing "lguest" file in a documentation folder.
I can give the exact error upon request if none has an obvious solution right away ^^

Thanks in advance :)

Anyway, I solved it myself : )

make-kpkg is not recommended for the newer kernels apparently, even though it can be used.
As far as I have read "make deb-pkg" is the recommended way to go : )
