sftp server folder size limit

Post by ayu »

I am setting up a file server for me and some friends.
Each person will have an account that only has access to sftp on the server.
Each person will have their own folder plus access to a public folder for all accounts.

My question is, does anyone know of a way to make size limits to the users folders?
For example, I want each user to only be able to store about 10 GB in their own folders, and then the public folder should also have a size limit.

Anyone know of a way?

yep, what you are looking for is "quota":
