not that i dont like WMs, but due to the fact that my linux box is surviving on p2 and 64mb ram, i used to run fluxbox, but i realized that its just waste of precious, limited resources.
at the moment I use gnome on my P2 (336MHz, 382MB RAM) and it runs fine, but I just installed it to be able to get some experience with graphics issues, usually I'm shell only.
FreeBSD was the 2nd *nix derivate I installed, I was a pretty Linux n00b at this time and had just very basic experience with RedHat....and well, after some attempts to configure X I decided to begin with studies about the aerodynamical behaviour of CDs...my results: they fly pretty good but can be damaged when hitting a wall...
lmfao....
oh man now i remember a guy once started a thread here and said he was planning to install freebsd and will ask for help if required, and he never came back
