just to give a report: development status is about 30% now. it takes a little longer than thought because I can only work on it in my (very limited) spare time. thanks for your patience guys... :)

Maybe if you weren't playing with cops, you would have more time? :-99

That has nothing to do with anarchy. It is more like civil disobedience.

Yes it is our right to practice civil disobedience when the governments become too autoritarian. I am sure the linux distro is comming along nicelly and I am sure to use it when it will become available.

I'm sorry for resurrecting a dead thread (tho it WAS sticked); however I was wondering how the distro is coming along? Has there been much progress in it b_b?

the thread is not dead, it had just a little pause...
I had not much time in the last weeks because I had to do a very time consuming job for a customer, but it'll done in a couple of days and then I can get back to working on the distro. the last thing I did was compiling the custom kernel, but after a reboot it ended in a kernel panic...I think I know the reason and will try it again with a different kernel version.

Oh. Here's a program that I'd like: Tor.

I've been messing around with it whenever I've been in the computer lab. I really like this program even hough it can be bandwidth intensive.

I guess pretty much everything ubuntu has, but include the cube, firefox with all the good plugins like firebug, live http headers, show ip, cookie editor, TOR and provoxy should be included, emacs, compiler programs, firestarter firewall ,chkrootkit, nmap, open office, k3b disc burning, hardened linux kernel, http and ftp server, encryption software, a good irc software that inludes a nice irc script w/ options to use socks 5 and such. samba file sharing, gnome desktop (i prefer instead of kde), utorrent, a nice reverse engineering / decompiling program set, alot of the good programs for auditing like backtrack has, i will think of more later

holytoaster, the development is going very slow because I am the only developer and so I can only work on it when I have no stuff for customers to do. so I can't name a release date...
