Ok, pretty annoying issue that made me feel a bit of guilt...
A friend of mine was at work (I didn't know that though) and wanted to know how to manage the shares in Ubuntu. I didn't remember the commands for it so I gave him the GUI way aka shares-admin.
Apparently, this somehow removed ALL of the network resources on that computer, and according to the "old admin" that the company, it simply works like that. But according to Ubuntu's site, it doesn't.
Does anyone know anything about this that I should know? Because, because of me, he had to do a lot of work to fix it >_<
