Boot cd from grub?
I was wondering if it is possible to add a boot from cd option to Grub??? I would love to be able to boot a cd from Grub. Make life alot easyier... I hate holding Escape and I don't want to change my boot order... It's very slow trying to read from cd every time it starts.

Re: google search
Unfortuneatly that resource did not scratch my itch.. Could be that I'm blind but I didn't notice instructions for booting a cd from the grub menu... This is what my route to my dvdrw drive is /dev/sr0 Ive tried putting that in place of where a hdd location would be with no avail.. It mearly reboots grub on me... Any one got some ideas... I like to use alot of differnt live cds that I just wouldn't have room on my hdd for..... About 25 gigs worth of live cds.. lol all speacialy taylored for one job.Its annoying to hold escape :'( ... But Im stumped.computathug wrote:Yes it is possible but just takes a little configuration.
