Seagate offers a network HDD docking station, named "Dockstar":

it can be hacked and turned into a fully operational Linux computer, with 2 USB and 1 ethernet ifaces onboard you surely can do a lot of stuff with it....and this just for 30 bucks!

I couldn't find any stores willing to ship to Finland for sane prices on amazon so I ordered it from ebay instead. cheapest one was 43€ (including shipping).... I should get it sometime next month
