Is it just me or does everyone else notice that Pidgin is really fucked up on linux?

Ummm... it isn't? It works fine for me...
Pidgin version 2.7.5 on Ubuntu 10.04.

Waht doesn't work as expected on your side?

I only had problems with yahoo on pidgin, never really worked for me.....I'm using kopete instead.

I run Pidgin 2.7.5 on Mandriva One 2010 with no issue. What do you mean by fucked up?

Well i use pidgin on backtrack and everytime on bootup if i start pidgin it will work however once i close it and reopen it.... it will never log into accounts

i check to see if its running in the background and its not there are no error logs or anything
