I recently downloaded the new Backtrack4 rc2 and everything is horribly slow internet wise
apt-get install #### im getting around 4kbps on the download
youtube.com takes longer then dial up to load
and i have a DSL connection and its very fast anyone else have same problem? or know a way to fix it?

hm, that's strange...is the NIC properly recognized? check with lspci...

just to make sure its not an ISP problem check your DSL speed through speedtest.net ..
