well, actually he's not wrong....
germans were working on some really weird stuff at the end of the war, SS scientists were looking for all kind of "wunderwaffen" (miracle weapons), one was the "HAUNEBU":

If you look at the technology that we use now days and look back during ww2 and other war tec. We really do not come up with anything new we just put a new face on old tec and make it profitable.

Indeed. When you look at the V1 & V2 Rockets made by Germans during WW II, the very
first super-sonic-speed missiles; this is the tech. the Americans used to go to Space and to the Moon.

The British really did feel the wrath of the V1 & V2 rocket missiles. They could hear the
explosion before hearing the sound of the missile; in London.
