Well I am making a site for my dad. He is a Chartered Accountant and this is his already existing website and now they are asking for too much $$ to renew it the domain is about to expire and thus the demand...!

This is the site now what I want to know is that how to get the rss feeds and the news that have been rollling on the horizontal bar as well as the vertical bar in the site. I have a few of the listed sites that have rss feeds so thats a bit easy for me to do, but what I do want now is the rest of the feeds on the site that I want to make for him...!

Please help... I didn't post this on business cause its not for advertising and anything such as

umm....so you want to create a new site with those features? will in run on an environment that supports PHP?

I basically dont care on what it runs.. php or html pages... but all that I care about is the features or things that it has I want it... it's my daddy site and the guy is asking for too much money to renew it and he wont even let me transfer the server to the one that I am using

There is a client login system I see, so I guess you could use Joomla to easier make the new site!

well, I was asking because the site you linked obviously runs on a MS server, just wanted to be sure PHP will be supported.

and yeah, as ph0 already said, use a platform like Wordpress or Joomla, will be a picnic to fetch and display RSS feed through one of the numerous plugins available.

Yeah fanks so far guys... m using Wordpress and yeah I would love to have those rss feeds also if you concentrate on the

Calculators

part in the site you'll notice that the site has various calculators and I was really worried on how to get those for me...!


The Graphics part is dont what I am confused now about is the Drop Down menu for it...

Also I would love to know how to get a clone for the site that I mentioned so that I can get the calculators off it without a sweat.

I would really appreciate the help and guidance that your offering me. I really dont want the exact same thing as I am already done with the design and sutff all I am worried about now is the RSS feeds of the sites that dont have RSS feed and also about the calculator thingy

Sorry the help was involving real money and I can't pay that. So if anyone can help me it will be appreciated. Pls It's not even for commercial use it's just for personal things.

Whats the URL where is the site at?

if its wordpress I don't imagine it would be hard to implement RSS

Let me know what the url to the site is I can help for free with adding RSS if needed as long as I don't have to build the site

If you need hosting I can probably help as well. I can maybe give you hosting for a short while free of charge. But I ain't the mother teresa of the internet LOL. So will only be for a short while.

If you need your theme added to wordpress I don't think I want to do that as that would require a lot of work maybe some one else can help you with that
