Buying antivirus for mobile

Post by z3r0aCc3Ss »

I wanna buy antivirus for android mobile phone.
I have shortlisted BullGuard and Kaspersky.

1) Do you have any other suggestions for mobile antivirus softwares?
2) From where can I get mobile antivirus at discounted rates? Are there any websites who offer them at cheap price?

I would never pay for phone AV, as they are easy to go around.
Either you try to surf smart, or you use AVG, imho :P

Yeah cats. I absolutely do agree with your opinion. I do it the same way for computers, but I'm not proficient when it comes to smartphones. That's why I am asking.
Ohh and by the way, I bought Samsung Galaxy S4 just now, \:D/ *thumb*

Hey cats, is you device rooted? If so, can you please provide me good tutorial on how to do it?
Also, what if rooting fails? It rolls back? Is my device still usable if rooting fails?

I usually don't root my phone, as I see no need for it.
I recommend you to use a software rooting method, as it wont risk the phone getting bricked permanently if something goes wrong, and you can easily return it to normal again (it's as easy as just updating the phone).

Code: Select all

Can't root my phone.
I tried the tutorial given by you as well as this:

Code: Select all

Both didn't work. Your method seems very easy, but getting some adb issues. I tried to solve them, still no luck.
The another method also didn't work for me... :( ](*,)
