I see a lot of articles these days about how 50-60% of the current jobs available will be automated by 2040 or so which got me thinking, how the hell is the world going to look then? The number of people on the planet is only growing and the number jobs will decrease, I don't see any new jobs emerging that could employ all the people from the ones that will be automated.
Best case scenario that I can think of is that in the future most of the jobs will be automated and people will have a guaranteed minimum income, the sort of which Switzerland has.
I would love to hear what you guys think about this?
