PSP hacking is really cool
here you have a PSP which is good...but it has potential
so amazing programmers and hackers made it possible for people like me to enjoy the amazing benefits of it
you can:
play any kind of rom on it
you can watch pr0n on a big screen
you can annoy your friends with shitty techno on the speakers
you can change the channels on the TV's at school
you can customize it to teh max
you can shove a banana up sony's rear by doing that
PSP Hacking is awesome
not really hard to learn how to customize one trust me it took ME 2 days and i was already on a custom firmware and everything i have Isos bustin loose and etc.
my advice it people get a PSP!
PSP beats the shit out of Ipod anytime
i just recovered from a brick (its like the worse disaster in PSP but if you have custom firmware you can recover most of the time)
its a risky business too cuz if you flash it the wrong way its over man
but you can have custom icons, boot screens, remove the sony logo
its fun its amazing and you can bring that stuff anywhere
its like hacking but mad gangsta
if you are a addicted wardriver you can use a homebrew to detect wirelesses around you and set up your path
if you know Lua you can make your own apps and stuff
i heard that it runs Linux too (will try that eventually)
its around 199...maybe less on e-bay but watch out for bricks
it requires a bigger memory card well 1 gig is good (which i have)
but a 4 gig im getting soon is way way more beast
if lucky your version is till 3.03 then you you downgrade it then you upgrade it to a special firmware made by the wizard in PSP Hax....the DAX (Dark_Alex)
its easy fun and its like my new thing to do...smack some homebrew and ISOs or CSO's and on the road
you can go online with it
i have chatted with peeps online tru e-buddy
there is a wide wide area with things you can do with it
gotta love the PSP.

Yeah..I've been seriously considering getting one.
I was considering modding one to accept GPS
I'm not paranoid..I just like knowing where I'm at, and the ways to get away from that spot as quickly as possible.
..haha.
I, too recommend PSP over iPood anyway. Sexy little devices. Like mini laptops. The Corvette of handheld gaming devices.
They should make them with touch screens, though..and with an integrated camera or something...in the front, so you could do PSP to PSP livecam or something.
The DS has it's advantages...but I'd still choose PSP.
I just don't have the $$$ to spare on it at the moment, though.
..or something.
Thanks for the links, BTW.
P.s. They could make better games for it..
The PSP-Katamari Damachi sucks, as does alot of the games for it.
It'll just take some time, I suppose. I'm not too much a fan of GrandTheftAuto..but they did a good job putting it on PSP. I'm interested to know how well the Need For Speed: Carbon came out for it..but I'm a bit too lazy to look since I don't even have a PSP of my own.

if you get one make sure its below 3.03 version
any version below 3.03 is downgradable
but if you have 2.81 up you will have to uprade to 3.03
for downgrading a 3.03 you need the unpatched version of GTA:Liberty City Stories
can be found in local BlockBusters
well if anyone interested ill provide alot more info
i had to do alot of research before i actually downgraded
this is my trail of firmware
2.81>3.03>1.5>3.03 OE-C....Recovery....1.5>3.03 OE-C
nothing changed after the semi-brick

yeah psp is cool, but i can watch pr0n on any device with a screen.. from 96x96 local mp3 player to lcd projectors...
Playing games on touch screen aint fun, for e.g my cellphone, i never play games on it.
Oh i didnt know psp also has wifi, i think its a must buy for me then, but before that i m planning to buy an sleek and sexy LCD tv for my room.
btw howz the display in sunlight? Is the screen fairly visible? Is it durable? i mean if i drop it a lot?

display in sunlight is horrible...but i mean its visible but not like perfect
its hard to see tho cuz the faceplate that it has makes it a little difficult with sunlight
as soon as you get shade you get it to work nice
but in class with all the lamps and shit it
is it durable...well i have it everyday in school for the last months i had it
i haven't dropped it yet...but its pretty hardcore
