Getting scared when headphones are on

Post by Jontebullen »

Do you get scared when you sit and listen to music and someones comes in and yells on you? i jump every frekin' time.
When i bought my ipod a year ago and started walking with it to school i even got scared every time a car passed me, although that has passed now.
Last week i hit my little sister in face because she tapped me on the shoulder, it was purely reflexes. Hit and hit, i more waved at her cheek. This ever happen to anybody else? Got any ideas on how to prevent it?
lol

My dad once walked into my room in the middle of the night when it was totaly dark in my room and i had the headset on and was watching The grudge. Not that the grudge is a scary movie....but he scared the shit out of me :/

By the way what kind of music do you listen?

Maybe turning the music a bit quiter will make you hear more of your surroundings. Good Luck. :P

your probably right about not playing so loud, bit i usually start out quiet and then raise the volume cause i really like the music :P

The last album i downloaded was "Kaiser Chiefs - Yours Truly, Angry Mob" which is the greatest album in a long time. I also listen to pretty much all music from the oc, and i recently downloaded the soundtrack cd's of marie antoinette (very good) and hackers (not so good, mostly weird techno songs)
but i listen to pretty much all music 8)

yesterday (or the day before) i caught myself with my speakers and my headphones on. And i had turned them on so i could lean back and wouldn't have to worry about by headphones. lol

i have locked the volume on my ipod so it doesn't go to the max since i bought in-ear plugs. Skullcandy earbuds or something i think is the name of them. I do miss my good ol' white ipod standards. They sure look classier. I don't like those new ipod earpieces, they are so ugly :x
Anybody else have an ipod? i have a video 30gb with Rockbox as an alternate OS, just for the games and to show off ( 8) ) pretty much

i dont have an ipod(had a local mp3 player), i usually listen to music on my workstation(where i spend most of my time), then i have spent a lot on my music system in car, i usually dont listen to music while playing soccer or cricket, and after all that still if i feel like listening to music, i do it on my phone.
