Music...all in the ear of the beholder?

It always amazes me how quickly and strongly people make assumptions about you based on classical music, social class, health, lifestyle, morality etc. Downright ignorant, and stupid as well.

Im a big fan of classical music and opera, though I certainly dont consider myself overly intellectual or cultured, more of a "rustic charm"

Now i know people are gonna read this and most likely think baron==lawyer and so they listen to that crap, but honestly, please give it a try. Thats the beauty of it, the songs they mange to to convey every human emotion in the spectrum, sometimes all at once!

From the haunting melody of Air on G string of Bach, to the dramatic flurry of Ride of the Valkyries, it really is as ranged and dramatic as any Hollywood film or blockbuster.

I love music, and there have been times, Ive been sitting down with my ipod and I stick on a favorite track, and i actually catch my breath because of how in awe i am, the elegance, the purity and clarity of the voice, its almost sensual, and a very intimate thing.

Im talking about classical music simply cause it seems to get a bad rep, but what are som e of your favourite genres/songs and why? Do they have some sort of significance for you?

Making decisions based on what people listen to is ignorant
Reason is that Music dosent usually go to people who fit that music style stereotype

example me

i listen to very trash metal and also i listen to techno and house

thats two things you'd say go in the opposite ends
but i don't care. I like those types of music.

Thus Music cannot determine a person's personality or lifestyle the only thing that can is that person himself.

For me metal means pushing through. Its my angry music.
When i do some type of workout or heavy physical activity
Metal gets me do more faster. When i am upset or angry that type of music helps me

Techno is my hyper music. I listen to Techno when i feel good and when i need to distract myself or relax.

i also have another type of music which i doubt that anyone is familiar with

its called Chalga its Bulgarian pop-folk music
Its my soul music.

as for Classic music...

Classic Music is too relaxing for me
Altho i have nothing against it. Its more than beautiful.
