sorry reminds me of a tv series called kungfu which was actually meant to star Bruce Lee but they gave the part to a guy called David Caroldine

some of the er 'older members might remember this'

yeah! it was one of my favorites when I was a kid (besides the good old Enterprise with James T. Kirk ^^ ). I heard David Carradine had a little trouble with "leaving" his role, he walked around barefoot for years in real life too...^^
