CALLING CYBER POLIC!!!

hey all im in desperate need of help.
ok, so...... my small town in michigan has a cyber terrorist
they are hacking facebooks and their emails and spreading rumors about people. its ruining our school and its been done to 5 people now. visser and i are our towns tech people EVERYONE comes to. but we are fresh out of ideas on how we can figure this out. and no they arnt doin it from school its done on weekends and week days. HELP PLEASE!!

uhm, call the FBI?

or, setup a trap =/

Lure them to "hack" you, and instead make up some kind of trap...like a honeypot

They don't seem to advanced though...i mean....who the hell WANTS to steal facebook accounts? O_O

Or even....why creating an account in the first place xD

its very tempting to call the FBI....

i could lure them to hack me.... but i am unfamiliar with a "honey pot"

you guys can pay for me to come out and deal with this problem say,12-13. I am able to travel, and what you need is an extra set of brains. I am in berville-michigan google map the sucka.

If you are so desperate, what measures do you want to take.

12-13 is your only date.

Anyway, it's as Shamir said. But to be more specifik, it's like setting up a "fake" computer and or network, to lure attackers to think it's a vulnerable network, and therefore lure them away from other "more important" networks or computers.

Just like it says, it's a honey pot to attrackt the bee's

Why are you guys talking about honeypots and this kind of stuff?

He's just hacking facebook sites... I doubt he hacked mail accounts. He justs got their passwords some way. (Maybe same ones as on facebook...?)

Write a mail to the facebook support and tell them what accounts were hacked/changed and more important when they were changed.

Hopefully they will look up the logs on the servers and find some IP that was connected to more then one account.

Or wait... just get DNR to solve this problem for you. Sounds like an easier plan.
