Categorising series, anime....etc

yep, that's what i meant...real collectors are surely interested in that too...
but ok, I've seen now that you are focused on japan....

hmm...I am not really familiar with mangas and animees, but I guess there are also main artists/creators you can use as categories. for US comics (only ones I know) there would be a "Stan Lee" category for example...

hmm good idea, I think I will use some sort of UI so that the users can decide to only handle a certain category.

I need some more work on this guys! Help me out ... so far I have:

Anime
Series
Movies
Manga
Comics

(no countries, sorry about that b_b ^^ just wont be effective enough)

the problem is now, that if I for example check up a series like "Superman" it will exist as an "Animated series", so would that not prove the existence of that category then? N3rd?

I have to implement the categories soon into my site, so I need some urgent attention here ^^

hmm....depends on the definition. if you define a "series" as "tells a story, has a beginning and an end" something like Superman would need an own category, because there is no real completed story....
