Ipod convert dvd?

Post by 1r0l3 »

Hello guyse, i just got the new ipod nano 5th generation as a christmas present ! :D

I want some movies on it and i have tried some dvd decrypters and then convert them as a mp4 file and put it into my ipod, its working well, but i need a dvd decrypter there is working well ;) the decrypter i used only decrypt 30 min of the video, and i dont know what it did with the other 1.5 hour 8O
anyone know a good dvd decrypter or "ripper" (i need the dvd files to be IFO format).

im using Leawo free ipod converter too, anyone can suggest some better maybe?

Thanks from 1r0l3 8)

every1 i know who are savvy in ripping use DVD shrink.
personally i just download movies from torrents, free, usually takes a episode of family guy & a smaller file.

It's quite ironic, but the program you are looking for is called "DVD Decrypter". It can rip dvd's in both iso and ifo formats.

I even googled it for you. Here you go:

Code: Select all

Enjoy.
¯\_(ツ)_/¯ It works on my machine...

is it a sony disc? they always had good copyright protection.
i did some googling...
try AnyDVD
or dvdxcopy
alcohol 120 proof...i think it will back up dvds

post from the guy who mentioned dvdxcopy
----
SONY NEW COPY PROTECTION ? I've been using dvd shrink
, dvd decrypter, dvd fab decrypter, successfully up until the new Bewitched dvd.None of them worked so i tried my old outdated dvdxcopy, which i haven't updated since they went out of business.I loaded the dvdxcopy then loaded the movie holding down the shift key the entire time, and that worked perfectly. Sometimes when backing up cd's i have to hold down the shift key to bypass the sunn program copy protection which rely's on windows to help run it, the shift key won't let some copy protection load. It worked for me, so maybe try an old program with the shift key ,it suprised me too.

if it doesnt work the 1st time, try the shift key trick.

DVD fab is used by a friend of mine for ripping movies onto a Zune, I just got off the phone with her, and she swears by it.

As for the 'shift key trick'... never heard of it, but it makes sense lol... who woulda thought XD
