Differences

Post by Dltr »

Well i dont know if this is the right Place to Post this Topic but ..

What are the Differences betweet :
1-Installing (for Example) Youtube Videos Using Ubuntu's Terminal

Code: Select all

sudo apt-get install youtube-dl
After that , Once you have that done you go onto Youtube and find the Video you want to download. Finally you copy the URL for the Video and go back to the Terminal and type in ..

Code: Select all

youtube-dl (past The copied URL here)
2-Installing briefly Add-ons from https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/ ,Finally you restart Mozilla and then you use the new downloaded Toolbar for , Or you go to Tools->Add-ons->Get Add-ons->Click on Brose All Add-ons->in The new Window you type (Youtube)->Then you find plenty of youtube add-ons to download.

3-Going to www.youtube.com ,search for your Favourite Video, after that wait for the Video to be loaded and do not close the browser,Finally you find the Video in your tmp Directory .

The Question is not for People who always take the Easy way but for those who can deal with Computers !

:-k

They're all different means to the same end. In the end, you still have the video downloaded onto your computer. The only thing i can think of is that the mozilla add-on or the youtube-dl may convert the video into a different format.
¯\_(ツ)_/¯ It works on my machine...

I personally use download helper, which is a FF addon. it will get you embedded videos that you wouldnt normally be able to download. it handy (especially for porn).
