Now just be aware:

Some smart scammers will include a fake person @real_companymail.com so the mail looks real. Even blind spoofing the email to make it look like it came from @real_companymail.com in the headers.

Then they will include a phone number.

They figure human impatience waiting for a reply they sent to the fakeperson@real_companymail.com will make them try the phone number next. Also human error- some people might not even send an reply email, but just use the phone number thinking that would be safest.
