Ok it does not always turn right it just seems that way in this video. I basically made modules of code and tested each one.

One module for example makes a measurement from my $10.00 dollar sensor mounted on the head. When this measurement is within a threshold of danger the code goes to the next module that asks where to go.

This “where to go module”, say well sweep the head up, down, left and right looking for an open spot to move into. Once found the robot moves there.

More is coming soon. I want a better chassis slightly larger so I can put a bigger battery, preferably a car battery. Also I am working on more modules (sensors and logic) testing each one and in essence challenging my understanding of electronics.

Ill put up another video some time tonight or tomorrow.

It was not hard to make. It just takes a lot of time and thinking. Each step i think about throughly so that i don't "Release the magic smoke inside the Chips." or simply said blow something up.

I programmed it in PBasic. The compiler is located here http://www.parallax.com/html_pages/down ... _stamp.asp

The language is super easy to learn and tons of support.
