Ok this might not be the best question but how do u create an affilate logo like on the left side of the page?

are you talking about the 88x31 pixel graphics which link to other sites?

well theres a variety of ways, primarily I use photoshop cs2

its just a graphic that is 88 pixels in width and 31 pixels in height and is usually a .jpg or .gif

.gif files allow for animations and can be made with Adobe ImageReady very nicely
