Ok so i would want to start selling my web templates on the web in near future. So my question is: do i need to buy any kind of license or something if i want to start selling my web templates?

just put something on the template 'Made by Macross' somewhere on it so they can't fuck it and take it for there own..

as long as you're doing this just to make a little money there is no need to make this an official job, but once you're having a decent amount of customers you better make it official and pay your taxes to stay away from trouble. in germany for example you're allowed to make 400 euro/month tax-free.

if you want to protect your images a little it is also a good idea to hide a copyright message in every single image, for example with Steghide:
