I cant really code.

I am not a student of computing.

I am not particualry insightful, logical or indeed possess ANY of the decent qualities required for a hacker.

But I try and learn.

Thats the most important point .

Dont go. Your just having a rough time, and you are overreacting. Ok?

You dont aggravate EVERYONE.

Just try and appreciate their points of view, and obey the rules, thats why some people get mad.

As to you cant learn, if you can read and write, you can learn to code. It is just a matter of applying yourself. Im a law student, but still learn. Its just about commitment.

and don't forget you have to believe in yourself mo2332, and work hard, if do that you will win, you have to get angry at yourself if want to become a coder.

You cant get code right the first time.

You start very small, very simple and then very gradually build up from there.

like OOP, it throws around big words, and weird concepts and doesnt explain it terribly well.

for example:

function=a mini-program within a program
conditional statement= if something is true, then do THIS
if something is false, then do THAT

loops=getting the computer to repeat a bunch of code till you tell it stop, by some command.

Etc, etc.

Mo, read through a language and code. If you are unsure about the terms, then post here on the boards and we can help. Do a little EVERY DAY, and dont move onto a different topic until you are 100% confident with the current topic.

That sound fair?

For your reference.

When I first started, I had trouble with tables in HTML. Now?

I will list you the languages in which I can work with.

HTML, CSS, PHP, MySQL (the former two I just learned recently), Java, some, JSP (although haven't really applied it and its just an extension of Java) basic shell scripting and a bit of PERL.

Basically, you need to find a language to learn - once you learn this language it's a matter of figuring out the API and you can learn essentially any other language. Think of your first language as the Rosetta Stone of computer languages. (See. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rosetta_Stone if you are not sure what the rosetta stone is)

Anyway mo, the reason people get angry at you is you tend to not listen. You see: one mistake - it's cool, second time around after you're aware of that mistake, shame on you. Not to mention the whole 'bring it on, big guy.' That is just asking for such trouble.

I started learning hacking about two years ago and I still have not learned any computer language. Well except for HTML but that is what I learned before when I first started using social websites like myspace.
We will either find a way, or make one.

I think everyone got this thread going in the right direction.

And Mo, you are not going to please everyone, no matter what you do.
You got friends here, don't burn those bridges. On the other hand, don't be so suprised that others are too willing to shovel dirt into your grave - as you dug that hole

If I am being too tough on you, its for a reason. I never shoot indiscriminately, I always take careful aim

I guess you can say you've been resuscitated, you shoulda been a DNR...
