New job, need sources

Post by ayu »

I got a new job, rebuilding a site for a big stereo seller here in Sweden. I have already started planning the structure of the site according to what they want on it, but I can't remember all the sources and the best ones, so I want some suggestions :)

The first thing I need is a text editor, like the one they use in PHPBB3

I was thinking about using TinyMCE, does anyone have any experience using this and do you know of any others that might be better?

Code: Select all

http://tinymce.moxiecode.com/
The second thing I need is a javascript image viewer, I already have one that I want to use, but yet again I need suggestions to make sure I am making the right choice. The ones I have right now is Lightbox and Highslide

(I like this one the most)

Code: Select all

Code: Select all

http://highslide.com/

Anyway, suggestions would be appreciated :)

hm, are you coding it from scratch or are you planning to use a CMS?
Wordpress for example has a lot of really sweet image viewer/gallery plugins..

an overlay image viewer I really like is Shutter, it is using no frame around the image so is has a nice levitation effect imo, and the viewer can fully focus on the image without being distracted by a frame:
